Writing Salons
Inspired by the Gateless Method a unique blend of modern brain science and ancient Zen. We begin with a short Somatic practice to relax the nervous system and shift from the overthinking left brain into feeling a sense of safety, where creativity comes alive. Guided into the imaginal and offered a prompt to free write for about 10 minutes. You are invited (not forced) to share, in which you receive only positive feedback, based on the work. We echo back strengths in the art. Improving your craft skills as a writer and creating new neural pathways, reinforcing the fact that it okay to to be creative and imperfect, building confidence in your own thoughts and feelings and on and off the page.

Breathwork
Inspired by ReWild Breathwork, trauma- informed high ventilation breathing, to induce an new perspectives and release issues in the tissues. We begin with gentle breath patterns to calm the nervous system and anchor in support. Then guided through powerful breath patterns in rhythm to the music to shift brain chemistry and induce altered state of consciousness. Closing with a grounding meditation to integrate your experience and validate the benefits. Stress and tension release, aids in anxiety and depression relief, increased cognitive functions, self-awareness, emotional regulation and new insights from a heart centered state of being.

Sound Bath
Inspired by vibrational healing of sound, utilized for thousands of years across the world. We begin by softening the body into support of pillows, blankets, then calming the mind with guided meditation inviting your nervous system to relax and receive the meditative experience“bathed” in sound waves, produced by singing bowls, percussion, chimes, rattles, and the human voice. Benefits include lowing heart rate, blood pressure, strengthening parasympathetic nervous system, balancing energy centers, stress management, increasing cognitive functions, better sleep and overall improved well being.

Meditation
Inspired by quietude, heart centered awareness and your ability to calm the mind. We begin with guided breath practice, helping to regulate your nervous system, easing into stillness and silence to align your body, mind and spirit. Receive the scientific benefits of meditation in stress reduction, lower blood pressure, increased mental clarity, cognition and compassion.
