Thank you for the warm welcome to this peaceful valley, an ideal place to practice being present. I believe in the power of Somatic Healing Arts as a personal portal to spark the soul and connect with a life worth living.

I grew up with a love for movement, creating art and playing with magic. I became a certified group fitness teacher while completing my Business Marketing Degree at CU Boulder. I earned my first 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2010, then actually began to practice yoga after committing to a whole new way of life, without drugs or alcohol in 2012. I completed an extensive 750 hour Yoga Therapy Certification from Ananda Seva in 2014 and began teaching in therapeutic settings. I became a Certified Writing Coach to help others harness the power of the written word. In 2019 I was invited to Bali for work at Seasons Treatment and residencies at the Bali Silent Retreat Center. After the pandemic I returned to California and eased into my previous previous positions teaching at Equinox and in Mental and Behavioral health. I was sparked by inspiration while visiting Santa Ynez Valley with my dear friend who suggested I open a studio, here?! My logical brain struggled to entertain the possibility of changing everything and venturing into the unknown, yet my heart could not say ‘no’- so I opened it. Since I’ve heard and said so many ‘yeses’ aligning the right people, at the right time and I believe we are co-creating HAUS together.

I am first a dedicated student. Not only in daily practice, also completing multiple certifications and continuing to geek out on the mind, body, spirit soul connection. I have had the honor of studying from master artists who lead with grace, confidence and continue to illuminate my endless healing journey.

My class helps you feel grounded, supported and empowered to make wise choices for your body, mind and spirit.

I moved to the valley 20 years ago and have been teaching movement ( dance, aerobics, pilates etc ) for over 40 years. I love blending free play and exploration with alignment and structure I have trained with the Nia tech, Jeanne Heileman, Marykay West, and Micheal Luan. I love to Dance, be in nature, eat yummy food and i work to be the "light".

I received a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Somatic Experiencing Training and Inner Relationship Focusing Parts work (IRF) to help private clients uncover and understand their trauma imprints and build more conscious relationships with themselves and others. “Once the body feels there is no longer a perceived threat, one can discover a sense of agency and safety, and learn how to make new decisions and choices from the prefrontal cortex where higher-level thinking lives. These decisions are not made from a frightened, overwhelmed, or underwhelmed nervous system, but from one that is coherent and balanced with the body & mind.”

Evolutions is a playful yet important class for our longevity . No matter what age you are we are all sitting more than we ever have and that is creating problems in our backs and shoulders etc.

My class will work to help you strengthen your whole back body and your core in creative ways, feeling strong and light!

I've been coming to SYV in the summer for 3 years and just moved permanently in May. I love country living and having access to the both the beach and the mountains. And of course the great restaurants and wineries.

I was introduced to yoga at an early age by my parents and have continued to evolve and explore on my own for the last decade. Yoga brings me a sense of serenity in addition to keeping me physically fit and spiritually connected. 

I earned my first 200 RYT in 2015 at Veda Yoga in Culver City. After graduating college in LA, I studied in Madrid with my teacher who has guided me through many more hundreds of hours of training throughout the last 6 years. I am fascinated by yoga’s powerful potential to transform people both physically and emotionally. 

I always feel at home in nature and love to cook delicious meals at home. For me, traveling is the best type of education. 

After class students feel like they had a full body massage! My areas of expertise are Equine Conditioning, specifically targeting patterns developed on horseback and Therapeutic Vinyasa bringing awareness to internal power sources that enhance external performance and longevity.

I grew up in the Santa Ynez Valley and after living in California and Mexico, I’m so happy to be back in this beautiful, close-knit community. I love the natural surroundings and the abundance of locally sourced, organic food.

My yoga journey began in college at Sonoma State, where I fell in love with the practice. After taking countless classes, I was allowed to stay as a model. The repetition and solid foundation have stuck with me, and I hope to pass that same connection to the body on to my students.

I completed my 200-hour training in Santa Cruz with Emily Perry and am currently finishing a 300-hour Primal Vinyasa training with Annie Adamson. I’m learning how to help others align and find ease within their bodies. I’ve also taken a Module 1 course at Hridaya in Mexico, which enhances my offerings.

With over 15 years as a massage therapist, I love diving into the unique challenges my clients and I face, exploring different techniques to find relief. I incorporate these insights into my yoga classes, aiming to help students find peace in their own bodies.

I’ve spent time in Mexico and Guatemala studying yoga and enjoying nature. I love being outdoors, eating healthy food, cooking, and reading novels. My pup Zuka brings me joy and helps me stay grounded, reminding me of the importance of playfulness.

After class, my students leave feeling peaceful, calm, and connected, with a deeper sense of ease in their bodies.
